meditation
the root purpose of establishing a yoga practice is to prepare the body for meditation. ancient yogis taught that learning the steadiness and ease in the body–pragmatically, earnestly, and with the grace of a spiritual practictioner–would yield the stress-free state of mind called nirvana, or samadhi.
at boundless yoga, our first value is to share the global benefits of yoga while honoring its meditative origins. that’s why, in nearly every yoga class you take at boundless, you either experience a slightly longer savasana (relaxation period at the end of class), a meditation period at the beginning of class, one at the end, or all of the above. we also regularly offer meditation workshops and series, and always, a free meditation class every week.
orly jalowski teaches a meditation class every sunday, 645-745 p. if you have any questions about the class, feel free to contact orly, or the studio.
