i just came here to party?
There are two things that come to mind this freezing cold Sunday evening. One is James Foulkes saying something to us like this, on Tuesday. There is nowhere to go. There is only more of you to arrive into this moment. And the other is something I overheard Leah Barr saying to her RYT students tonight. What part of you, on your mat and off, have you not yet welcomed to the party? Invite that part of yourself to come forward.
It’s as if what we are doing here is just witnessing this continual arrival of Self into the moment. (the party of the moment, as Leah highlights:) Here’s to a simple celebration of the breath for us all, tonight. I am grateful for Boundless - for peaceful, boring Sunday evenings – and for the feeling of “Is-this-fall-or-winter?” in the air.
Oh. And once i read a book about time travel. And it said there is no such thing as past or future. That we just live in a continually expanding present moment. And you know, i thought to myself then, years ago when i read that, “Yeah. I mean, I don’t totally get that, but i think it’s probably true.” And today I think to myself, “Yeah, It’s totally true.” This is it. This is the party.
